The course project is to consist of a report on a fictitious business, one that you would plan to start, and give information on this business, including the following:
Your strengths, and how you would utilize these to be successful in business, and your weaknesses, and how you would overcome these to be successful,
An analysis of your business opportunity, showing planned growth and return on investment for your time and money,
A description of the legal structure you would choose, and what it does to protect or help your business succeed,
How you would assure that you have a management team and hire and retain the best employees,
What are the demographics for your industry, who is your target customer, and what are your best market opportunities and strategies,
Describe your competition, and how what specific marketing strategies you will employ in running your business,
How will you keep your records, and what will your first five years of budgets look like,
What sources of money will you use to start your business, and what are your plans to pay it back?
The paper must be at least five pages in length, and will be graded on content, style, organization, presentation, and original thoughts, ideas and conclusions.
This will need to be submitted prior to the completion of the course and for your final grade.
